Heritage Trail

A 26-mile multi-use recreational trail built on the former right-of-way of the Chicago and Great Western Railroad, Heritage Trail connects Dubuque to the town of Dyersville through scenic Driftless Area landscapes. The compacted crushed limestone surface with a maximum one-percent grade makes it ideal for walking, cycling, and cross-country skiing.
