The Lift

A Dubuque institution since 1999, The Lift is a TV-free basement pub and 200-capacity live music venue on lower Main Street built for real social interaction. With 24 rotating craft and domestic beers on tap, a solid liquor selection, free popcorn, a pool table, jukebox, and pinball machines, The Lift offers an unpretentious atmosphere where the music and the conversation are the main attractions. The venue hosts touring and local acts Tuesday through Saturday with never a cover for most shows.
